GREAT INFO JENNE!!!
And I noticed in the listings that it has moved from the U.K. back to the U.S.A. now. I hope the new owner finds us at BYC.net and shares MANY photos!!

I am curious if this is a stunt helmet? I do not see the pin holes for the actor to see if the helmet had electronics.

Re: Screen used Helmet at Propstore
I can see where the salt & pepper holes used to be. So at some point the a owner had them filled, and it rechromed in that spot only. That isn't the first helmet I have seen that done to either. There were really no stunt, or hero per say. They just made the helmets, and made a few changes as filming progressed. That is a older more like very early original helmet.testsqa wrote:I am curious if this is a stunt helmet? I do not see the pin holes for the actor to see if the helmet had electronics.

Re: Screen used Helmet at Propstore
Take a look at the overall suface condition. It has nicks, and scratches all over except the section of the bridge of the Mohawk around the nose section, and to the left, and right of that area where the salt & pepper holes would be. The inside the helmet doesn't show a good view with the eye scanner holder in place to see the plugged up holes. I forgot the guys first name, but I am pretty sure this belonged to Mr Jones. He plugged up two other Cylon's that he owned before he passed way about 9 years ago. He was the owner of the Gold Cylon, Vulpa, a standard chrome Centurion, the Imperious Leader, and the list goes on of what he owned.

Re: Screen used Helmet at Propstore
I'd have to agree with Skullbeast on this one. I don't see any "filled" holes. And to me, if anyone was insane enough to mess with a 1:1 screen used item (thereby trashing it) I don't think they would have stopped with just having about 4 square inches redone... would have had the entire deal reconditioned. I think any attempt to alter a screen used item

Re: Screen used Helmet at Propstore
I agree, assuming it is the same helmet in both auctions there does not appear to be any trace of the holes in the pic from the first auction below.Skullbeast wrote:I don't see them on the inside the helmet however.
This means that not only were the holes filled it and refinished/rechromed on the outside, but the interior was refinished as well.
