Team America!

Seriously, though, these do have some potential - I just hope they do some more work on Lucifer, though. His head wasn't silver and I don't think he ever actually had any hands - although they could have been hidden by the long cloak. If they ever do Imperious Leader, his head in this scale should actually be about right!

Lucifer's hands were hidden by the cloaks' long sleeves indeed.

The whole figure looks like a scaled-down version of the unreleased Amok Time 12" figure.

They even used the same (wrong) paint scheme for his face...

 lolz

And Red Eye, you are right. They are close... but not all that 1:1.
Why doesn't anyone ever ask us Cylons first about these things!?!! *FACE PALM*

The cylons look like the need a diet. And the humans look like hobbits. Starbucks and Adama Baggins!

Yikes. But, 34 years later... we have to take what we get! ;)

Yeah, sure. But it seems no company is able to do adequate Classic BSG figures.

And if they are quite accurate, they'll only release a handful of figures and cancel the complete line. Why?

Time to revive an old thread again with some MASSIVE updates...

While searching for BSG related images, I accidently stumbled upon this:

For the upcoming Imperious Leader figure, they really used my first mask as reference! How cool is that? I feel so honored!

Skullbeast's version would have been a much better choice, but here we go... it's good to know they'll release a new Imperious Leader figure after all these years!

For future releases, they plan to release Baltar, Boomer and Tigh (not pictured) as well:

Here's some more concept art for Baltar (couldn't find one for Boomer):

Here are some more photos of the new figures on display:

So what to say about the new figures? First, especially the Leader looks very odd again... hope they'll update him a bit before the initial release but I don't think so since they haven't done much on the first wave of figures when comparing their concept art with the actual products...

Nevertheless, it's nice to know they'll be new Classic BSG collectible items to celebrate the series' 35th anniversary!
