Obscure/forgotten sci-fi TV series
Over the years (or decades, to be more accurate), there's been some sci-fi shows on TV that ran a few episodes, then the show was cancelled and quickly forgotten.
Anybody recall "The Phoenix"? About an ancient astronaut that awakens and goes on a search for something or other. Also "Something Is Out There", about an alien teaming up with a cop to fight crime or other bad aliens. One could go on ("Threshold", "Surface", "Dark Skies", "Earth 2", etc.). One show that I enjoyed watching when I was in high school was "Project U.F.O.", which was a take on the US Air Force's Project Blue Book. Of course, the special effects were typical 1970's, but hey, I was 17. Anyone remember that one?

I dont really recall any of those but I love to learn about them. I'm finding that I'm having my teenager child hood of classic TV in my 30s. I'm still going through Buck Rogers!

I recall I think all of those. Is The Phoenix the guy that was the 2nd in command to Kahn from Star Trek. If so that series was around 1982 or 83. The rest I recall very much so.

"Once a Hero" I owned at one point all of the costumes. A very cool looking super hero like suit. I had 7 of the suits and that is more than aired episodes.

This one was one of my favorites! also obscure and just a few episodes.
1979 Salvage 1
Starring Andy Griffith ...the original pilot was called just Salvage latter changed to Salvage 1 for the series.

I recall that episode very well. Andy did a demo on how the rocket would launch in a sports car. They went to the moon if I recall. It lasted a few sessions didn't it.
