GRRR!

So, my wife and I bought a treadmill about 2 years ago... and yeah, like most, it sat around getting dusty. We've moved it in the living room to HAVE to use it, and have been for a week or so now.
TILL TONIGHT - of course - the motor seems to have gone out. You can set it to 2MPH but it will dip WAY down to almost a total stop. I've done all the troubleshooting the manual says, but nothing helps. And -again- OF COURSE I can't find the receipt when I bought it - I can guess by my checkbook, but that won't help me with any warrantee. GRRR!
I'll call the company tomorrow and see what I can get done. May just buy a motor - found one online for $164. Double GRRR! Figures, huh?
