Muffy get his ears on

Well after months, and months of research, and finally some help from Futaba I ID the remote unit that used for Muffy, and then began the search. It took a while, and found a few of them close, but over kill. Muffy used a 3 channel remote unit. One for each ear, and one channel for the mouth. I don't recommend a vintage remote for your own personal build, but this a a vintage screen used Daggit trying to restore it back as much a possible original state.
This unit came with the remote, the receiver, both Tran, a Rec crystals, four servos, battery for the receiver, battery for the transmitter, battery charger, and owners manual.

That's a classic!...Now your really bringing back the memories :nah: I owned one of those back in the day to fly planes with, ...is it am or fm? looks like it is 27 Mhz (Ground Freqency) and it looks like you got a 6 channel rig there.......If you have any problems with it let me know, and I will get you in touch with George Steiner, He is our local Radio tech here in sacramento. He's an old timer but he's real good with the vintage gear. He has a large collection of some really old gear and is a repair guru.

Screen used original. Photo shoot this Sunday with Muffy, two Cylons, and a DeLorean if you want to stop by. Fog machine in use for effects also.

Awesome find on the remote. Good to know Muffy only used 3 channels. Still, I can't help wondering if it would be possible to somehow make him mobile using RC...??
