Hello from Qneo,

We are new to this forum and have to say that we are impressed by all the creativity going around here. Qneo is cooperation between two friends creating apps for mobile devices.

As we are both fans of the classic Cylon we decided to create a dedicated Cylon Voice vocoder app because no voice transform app existed yet that came even close to the original Cylon sound. Made by professional analog vocoders of the 70's, the Cylon sound is hard to mimic, even by today's standards. We put all our effort in this app dedicated to recreate the Cylon sound.

For a demonstration you can watch on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-rQ8jXBpYA (more clips soon

Sounds close to me!

And welcome aboard, by the way!

Any plans building a helmet or full suit for a proper use of your app?

Welcome on board. I downloaded the app, and it is cool that is has a lot of variation to it. Sounds a bit muffled, but it is cool. I don't see it very good to use while wearing a Cylon suit. No time to push record buttons, and play back while trooping around, but awesome if you want to make your own little play back clips.

Jan-Willem & Andre (Qneo) welcome! And what a GREAT start - your ap is a wonderful idea, and very much needed. I'll be downloading it tonight and will give it a try.

Post often and enjoy the site. Looking forward to seeing more from such a talented team.

Qneo, wow, the app is NICE! Very very nice.

Link: Here is a sound clip I made with it for everyone to review. Enjoy.

Oh, P.S. I used your demo code #6 - thank you! Keep up the good work.

Thank you all for your warm welcome and feedback!

- Interesting thought GoldCylon of combining the app vocoder and a suit. When the "live mode" is turned "on" the vocoder transforms your voice immediately. So, I guess this is what you are looking for. However you need to plug in an external amplifier and speaker

I guess I need to try the live version to see how that works. I guess it is a great idea since if pluged in for live I can still take a phone call.

It's decent. It's no vortex2 that's for sure, but its worth the 2 bucks.
