Muffets Waste Band
OK 1st off no I wasn't talking about a group of Daggit Rockers that are Stoned....
OK I have been busy the past few days, and have learned a lot why I have been working on this next item. I call it the "Waste Band" since no other name comes to mind.
I figured out real quick while making this how to go about making this a little bit even better. There is nothing wrong with this piece, but I make it quickly more as a demo more than a piece to use. I might end up using it in the long run, but here is a demo video on what I have done so far. It is about 40% complete, but it shows off the major parts, and structure.

Re: Muffets Waste Band
OK a few more photos of the waste band section. I made this a HERO version. The next video I post will explain the difference, unless someone can point out what the changes are between the two different styles.

Also take note the long glue stick. I only used the glue stick on one side, and those sticks are 10 inches long, and I used 2 of them. This thing sucks up the glue.

Nice. Now you just need a monkey.

I'm planning to make a PVC pipe "monkey mannequin" of sorts to put the daggit "suit" I make over. That way, it will be true to the original costume rather than being a stuffed animal.

Re: Muffets Waste Band
Well like I did mention this in the video this was supposed to be a study model on what would or could be my problems while building it. I have found two problems, one is the high point is just to high, and Lt. Rhea pointed out some type of check on the edges of the fabric. So I need to figure out the check on the fabric edges, and redo the weight of the band. I also will glue down fabric stiffing material this time unlike what I did the first time to the 1st layer. So the piece I built will now be part of the Cylon Base Museum. How us Cylons got pay back on Muffet 2 after he took one of us out on that darn planet that blew up. Frack!!! I hate it when you fuel depot blows up.

I've gotten fray check in a pointed tip bottle before. You just "glue" the raw edges of cut fabric with it. If you put it on thick enough, it works well. But, on some fabrics it is noticeable and if you don't get it on right, the fabric can still fray a bit.
