Status of Universal-Bryan Singer- Film BSG- Anyone?

Post by Queenhunter » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:33 pm

I keep seeing threads and posts saying one thing and then another.

Lemme guess, with the history of NO Bsg for 30 years I guess it is not going to happen now.

Any one got any inside tips? latest news?

IS IT? or ISN'T IT?

My guess is, no. Not anytime soon that's for sure. What a shame :(

My understanding the Singer, and DeSanto are no longer working together, but that doesn't mean the project can't continue with out one or the other. Glen sure is at least in mind still thinks it is alive at least his comment in Seattle last year announcing the Galactica movie was going to be in 3D.

Oh man dont say 3d.

Look at all the 3d flops already
Clash of the Titans Rings a Big Bell!

When I first heard of it I got a lil giddy, but is wavering fast.

Why Cant we Slide into a parallel Universe as in Sliders and go to a world where BSG was not canceled and bring back the proof of their mistakes to Cancel , that would be great.

Cause I feel it also that so many ,that actually seen the original first shows.
Disappointed and Cheated and has been the legacy since for any one who was into it then.

IF I could, and had the funds (lots o money) I would put it up to make a continuation, remake
Fan made Feature film, pay for all of it and give it away.

Frankly, I have always had that in my head for over 30 years, after reimagined and the talk of a New feature film not re-imagined was like hearing that the 1978 Z-28 you owned
(or Wrecked) is sheltered and in brand new condition and is awaiting your return.

Cause I did own one, it was wrecked, Oh well, maybe something will happen yet....

Hi

I did an internet search the other day on the topic. For the longest time, everything had a 2011 release date on it. Now I noticed that a few postings had a 2012 release date. If it keeps goings like this, it will not occur in my lifetime. Too bad. I read a few of the story ideas and they seemed pretty interesting.

Maybe the story concept ideas presented were good ideas, but I think Glen has stood in the way and stopped them because he doesn't like the script ideas presented to him.

I don't think Tom, Bryan, and Glen were off bases on what they are looking for in a team effort. The last thing any of them want to the RDM version.
