:cylongold: The Old masters are dieing off in record numbers,

These guy's are from the greatest generation...

My dad is from that era and thank the lords of kobol he is still here......82 and still kicking. WWII vet, Retired Areospace Eng. worked on all of the missions Redstone, Mecury, Gemini, Apollo, and Shuttle

Astronaut Brian Duffy presented my Dad with the Silver Snoopy Award in 1985 for heading up a project that put the shuttle back on schedule.....Silver Snoopy Pin and Cert. were flown on STS 31

I could never in a lifetime fill his shoes or ever expect to reach the level of accomplishment he has nor can we ever replace these Giants among men.

It is very very sad so many of them are dieing at such a rate.

When Tom Hanks and Steven Speilberg produced Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers, I remember Hanks making the statement that we are loseing 1500 of these guys every day.

The Brilliant Genius of these guy's was the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's when most people think of this era, their memories are mostly of Hippy protest, The war in Vietnam, Politics etc......But I lived with one of these Geniuses......and I can tell you at the time all of them were on the cutting edge....

The Producers of the shows we all cherish so much, The technical guy's that made it all happen, The writers, the Model Guy's, All of the space program guy's...the list is endless.

Thank you so very much for all of the things you have given to us.
Our Hearts are Broken and We will miss you
Rest in Peace John Barry..... :brokenheart: :brokenheart:
