Re: The QR Code launcher
Do you have a smart phone, and the reader? I am not sure if any phones beyond the iPhone can read these new codes, but these things are spreading like a virus. I am seeing the codes on many adds, and even tee shirts.
I want to do something unique for the guys that have the ability to use their smart phones to see something different, but those of you that don't have a smart phone you're being left out of some big secret.

Re: The QR Code launcher
...basically (in this case) you scan it and it gives you text or takes you to a website on your phone.goldcylon1 wrote:Apparently my smart phone is smarter than me. Ive been seeing this bar code squares all over the place. Please fill me in. GC1
(From the below link)
Although initially used for tracking parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR codes are now used in a much broader context (blah blah blah)
QR codes storing addresses and URLs may appear in magazines, on signs, buses, business cards, or on just about any object about which users might need information. Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader application can scan the image of the QR Code to display text, contact information, connect to a wireless network, or open a web page in the phone's browser. This act of linking from physical world objects is known as a hardlink or physical world hyperlinks.
