Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the good words, doing what I can with what I have.

Couldn't find the mouth grill at the time of pic, so he does look a bit funny.

always doing something new, got bored with the old avatar.

The circuit board will not fit vertical in the mohawk. If you measure the area you will find its not a rectangle, its 1.5 inches at the top and 1 inch at the bottom between the brows. So the board sits horizontal in the top part its all 1.5 inches.

Hello everyone,

Here is the helmet, didn't turn out like I expected but its close. I think I will use this one as a learning tool.

Wow - that is really nice and clean!! Where are you going to put the speaker?

I'm Very interested in something like 5 of those sets if you make them available!

Hello everyone,

Not sure where to put the speaker yet. If I do mount it in the helmet, I will probably use a thin speaker behind the mouth grill.

I am working on details to offer the controllers for sale.

Hello everyone,

Thanks, It didn't turn out as shiny as I wanted. I would have a pro paint next time. At my local auto painter (40yr experience) estimated around 2 hours of work, he gets $48US per hour labor, so he says around $120 for labor and paint. about the same as chroming I guess.

That is impressive nonetheless. Have you considered wetsanding or buffing the finish? It might make it more reflective.

What are the odds of you offering your circuits in kit form?

I need to wait at least 30 days before any buffing. I do have plans to try it.

The mico-processor eye scanner will be offered for sale soon. I am in the process of getting it together.

What I have in mind so far...
The assembled controller board
4 assembled LED modules
battery connector with switch

I guess its time to do a update.

I received some armour parts from Hand-Schaub. I have begun to work on them. Now its time to do some research on how the backpack goes together. But as CK often says, pics or didn't happen, well CK here are pics.

I often feel like I am being watched, here is a pic of friends that drop in about supper time every night. Last time I counted there were 60 hanging around.

Good luck with the rest of your build.

I bet it will be as awesome as your helmet! :cylon:

I mocked up the backpack, and found a few areas I need information on.
for starters, The bottom edge, where the "L" piece meets the bottom of the backplate.
Am I supposed to add a piece or do I need to trim?

I have been looking in the gallery, and its difficult to see on the chrome and plum material.

thanks,

some have a strip but not 100% neccesary. It sometimes helps the fitting if it is not there.
