Re: Tutorial - make your own Cylon Eye scanner
LINK >>> Here is the video WMV file @ 3.98 MB
It took it:
1. In a totally dark room - interior room - no light what-so-ever.
2. In the same room with the lights turned on. Just some typical light bulbs.
3. Outside in the blazing sunlight - so bright on the white helmet the camera couldn't really deal and gave a red cast.
(P.S. that is my awesome Eye Sound I've re-mastered with some audio software.)
Note: ZERO diffusion and not really even installed right, just tape for now.

Re: Tutorial - make your own Cylon Eye scanner
This really should be titled "Make your own LED Cylon Eye Scanner" since the original scanners used light bulbs and not LEDs. Follow this old thread for some good info on replicas and the original Cylon light sweep...

One thing is the eye view slot isn't black, and that effects the how well you see the redness of the scan of the red lights.Cylon-Knight wrote:LINK >>> Here is the video WMV file @ 3.98 MB

I really like that Zeta's scanner also can do the sound. But I gotta have a comet tail. Has anything been developed with the Zeta scanner to encorporate a comet tail effect?
