Re: The Robots of "The Black Hole"
From what I heard, one of the full-sized models is at the Disney Archives in Burbank (together with a complete Humanoid costume). The other actual-sized model had to be at Planet Hollywood (but I've forgotten where actually).
One of the miniatures were sold at Hollywood Auction #26 by PiH in 2006 and another one was featured at the Disney booth during the SDCC 2009 (together with a miniature of Old B.O.B. and a maquette of Maximillian).
Oh, by the way: The original, full-sized Max is also still around! Now THAT would be a prop you can be proud of.

WOW! Great posting, thanks for this.... we've touched on the Sentry's in another post, and there is a possibility of a run of replica castings from the helmet/chestplate - fingers crossed!

When I'm pleased with the result of my own Sentry helmet, I think we can do a small run of these...trooper18938 wrote:WOW! I'll start a new thread when everything's ready.

The 1:1 V.I.N.CENT. at Planet Hollywood is in Flordia, Downtown Disney - I've seen it! We went to Disny on our Honeymoon 12 years ago. I have a photo of it somewhere I'll have to unearth.

These are great. I am glad I picked up the DVD by chance about 2 years ago. It has given me the chance to go back and watch movie in recent times. C.O.R.A. lives near Disney in FL, and I wouldn't doubt if he has a photo to share so I will check in with him.

That VINCent is no longer on display at Planet Hollywood at WDW- not sure where it went. I may have a picture somewhere I can dig up...

Re: The Robots of "The Black Hole"
Great thread - Those Italian magnetics are cool - I never saw the sentry before......
Wish I still had my 3" Megos, had Vincent, Max, a few Sentrys w/ pistols, ..... sadly they were sold at a local flea market circa 1984 when anything that wasn't Star Wars was gotten rid of ... Yes, including my Galactica figures, including a few different lucifers.... Blasphemy, I know....
I'd definitely be interested in a Sentry helmet or two..... one maroon, and one black like S.T.A.R.
