At long last, here are the latest news and pictures of the Imperious Leader...

As you can see on the pics, the shade isn't very accurate compared to the original screen-used one (when it was in one piece, of course). It's too much red in it in my opinion...

But as I wrote before, he used to much paint anyway, so all minor details are gone now (it's hard to see on the photos) and a new cast of the mask has to be done. In that case, he has also to apply the paint again, of course. And to avoid any inaccuracies, we'll do the painting together on my next visit.

The work for the headpiece has also begun... but he has to overwork a few aces here and there, too... but that shouldn't be a problem because it's still in it's creational phase.

To cut a long story short: Here are the pics...

Awesome work. I love it. Looks much better once I see the full sized image. The thumb nail doesn't do it justice. Can't wait to see what the head work looks like.

Here are the pictures of the Imperious Leader throne as promised:



NOTE: The two grips at the back rest are added to achieve an easier handling because the whole throne is very bulky due to its size, as you might have thought.

But as soon as I've found a fixed place to display the costume, they will be removed of course.

How about some details... how much does it weigh, etc. Types of materials used, etc.

The throne is made of black-painted wood, just like the original.

It's also quite heavy, but I can't tell the accurate weight because I haven't weighed it yet, sorry.

I can do it the next days if you like.

Another update for the Imperious Leader mask and headpiece.

I think this is great. I have to say better than the original also, because done by a fan, and in a fans hands as a keep sake prop. Just make sure to save that buck (mold) to make others also.
