Now do you plan on making these and marketing them now, or was this a one and only project. It is incredble and you could sure put me on the list if you decide to start making these. Great job, and you are an artist!

Sorry I certainly don't intend on making these Undersuits or selling them, it was a custom build for myself to complete my cylon costume. After Christmas when i have a little more time on my hands I may have the custom pattern I made and used to create the suit available for a small price to cover postage and drawing.

Indeed. The suit is awesome nashslash... you are REALLY going to give up your "dream" of making Cylon under suits full time??? (haha!)

hmpotc33... the under suit if you - or some pro - makes it isn't that "hard" per say, skill wise. It is so SO SO SO SO MUCH hand work, over and over and over and you get the idea. Many shops will over price it to avoid the work. I'm going to try and sew one soon too, and I'll probably end up loving to hate it like nash  lol

Is the pattern something you're willing to share?

Sorry, I read all the way through this post before I had signed up for the board, and had a bit of trouble getting my access email so by the time I was able to post, I had forgotten you had mentioned that...

Let me know if you do decide to offer them and how much you're asking. I have no troubles making a pattern, but if you've already figured it out there's no sense reinventing the wheel, right?

What did you use to have the spandex dyed? Did you do it yourself or have it professionally done?

Any chance of getting a swatch?

It looks GREAT in the pic! WOW!!

It is almost impossible to find someone dye the material since it is a synthetic material that just doesn't let the pigment of the dye become embedded into the fabric. I think the best bet is to try getting a color custom made that is water proof and paint it on via airbrush. Just a thought if you can't find a off the shelf close enough color to get it to work for the under suit material needed to complete your suit.
