What kind of tube did you end up useing and the part for the end?

well i don't know about electrical tape.this rifle is so far off the studio prop that i'm not sure how i want to do the upper rib vents.i was thinking of bondo.or something.what do you think CK?Its your big wooden spoon anyway bro.

The tube i found in harbor freight.had a wire pulling kit in it.gave that to a friend just wanted the tube.as for the tip.i took a hole saw for a drill and just cut disk out in two deferent sizes of Plexiglas.and put them together.they still need some cleanup.still lots to do.right now i'm trying to figure out how to make the top plate snap on without a hinge.for the light and electronics.

Hummm... you are the master Cylon Builder! I would just probably make everything out of wood if it were me - then put the tube around it somehow. I'm not that crafy without my computer .

Don't have to have tape. Yeah, that's "correct" ... but it will just need repairs over time, and be annoying. An updated version however you think to build it best - that is a close look to the original - is good with me. My suit will not be 1:1 perfect anyways.

That is great, and love the blue. That will be much easier to see in the day light over a white like. Nice cut away also.

Wow! It's been over a year since I last visited here and posted....

Anyway, I just thought I would let you know that I have an original screen-used Cylon stunt rifle. It is SADLY missing the nozzel and bayonet pieces, but the rest of it is intact.

Would you be interested in pics or dimensions?
