yes I used paint instead of chrome. I couldn't afford to spend what it was going to cost to get it chromed properly. I like the effect you get from the alclad2 paint it sort of reminds me of centurion 9 after the abcraft has crash landed

My armor was painted with chrome paint as well (can't remember the brand now) and it turned out very well IMHO.
It almost looks like being vacuum metalized and wasn't so cheap either...
