Great job on the pistol. Symmetrical or wonky? I'd leave it wonky. The detailing on the helmet is very cool, and it's great there may be a replica soon......would you be making some available to members as well?

I saw that build about 5 months ago, the guy is doing a awesome job.

I've been watching that since the start, yes. I lurk on their site A LOT - I'm too FAT to bother to build a C-3PO... but I can DREAM.

Yes, that V.I.N.CENT. makes me slobber, but the build has STALLED forever....

If there is enough interest, I think a kit could be made...

While we're thinking of the possible kits, I think we each need: 2 pistols, and 2 helmets - one maroon, and of course, one black as S.T.A.R.

By the way, I think its great we can discuss this on a Cylon forum - 70's/80's robots share some common design asthetics, and make for great displays.

Oh yeah, trooper18938... we all love cool costumes and robots! Don't be shy to post "non-Cylon" stuff.

Me too was thinking of painting the helmet all black.

But if you go for a S.T.A.R. replica costume, you also have to make the medal thingy on his chest plate.

S.T.A.R. also uses a different belt than the ordinary Sentries.

Plus... you'd have to install a "smoke" system so you can flip-out like S.T.A.R. does when V.I.N.CENT. puts the smack down on him w00t!

ah! And I noticed just now... does S.T.A.R. have different guns? He's seem to be silver, the standard Sentry has black guns... is that right? I'll have to rewatch the movie I watched it about a week ago... time for another viewing!
