GREAT NEWS!
Are the robes ready? Suit up and walk around in it on a vid - I could add Cylon music etc. We can work up a little IL fan vid

There's still a few minor work to be done on the robe. But this shouldn't take long.
Can't wait to see the finished costume all set up on the throne/pedestal...
Good idea with the fan film. I think we can work something out as soon as everything's completed.

Looking great, awesome looking, and a great piece to have in the collection. Is there any updates on copies of this guy to be sold?
Thanks for the updates on the head piece also, and the color shift.

Red Eye - one word....
PERFECT.
You and your pal, dare I say, have outdone the original. I love the pic of him in the car

too cool.
Did you have the right eye light off? It seems like in some photos that it was out... maybe it was the angle or the flash making it seem out.
What are your plans for the head? Any fans or other type of cooling system? How is the vision out of it? DETAILS!

... email me more if you have time. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!
BY YOUR COMMAND, IMPERIOUS LEADER *bows*

Thanks!
I've once talked about copies with my pal. Basically, he sees no problem in making another mask but I don't know when he has the time to do it.
I also know he likes to make his own mask for himself. When he's making his own, it wouldn't be a problem for him to do a second, I think.
Would you like to have a full painted copy with illuminated eyes or just the raw mask for painting/wiring by yourself?

Thanks again!
To answer your questions:

No, both eyes glow the same green. It's hard to see in the light of day but in a dimly lit room you can see it much better (like the Centurions' eye scanners).
Here is a photo of how the eyes will look like in a bit darker environment again:
The eyes are powered by a 9V battery which is linked to switch for activating them. On this photo, you can also see the wiring which runs down the back of the mask:
Cylon-Knight wrote:What are your plans for the head? Any fans or other type of cooling system?
I wish we could install any fans inside for cooling. Because of the foam core of the mask, it's really getting hot inside. The only problem is that the mask was made using a mold of my own face for optimal fitting, so it doesn't provide any additional space for adding anything inside.
Cylon-Knight wrote:How is the vision out of it?
The vision is slightly better compared to the tiny "salt-and-pepper" holes of a Centurion helmet. The eyeholes are located at the forehead and were covered with black window screen to avoid seeing the wearers eyes behind it:

VERY NICE! Maybe you could run a hose into the mask that would push in cool air? You'd have to do something if it was to be worn for awhile.

Yes, maybe my pal knows a solution for that problem...
