Re: Rifle nozzle intrest thread
Not to throw this thread off track, but I am already having a bunch of these made from acrylic. I believe that metal master Dale has is the one I made some years ago. If these are already being made, please carry on, but I figured I'd offer to save a few of you some work as it's already happening in my world. I'm doing the blades as well. I did a run of blades and nozzles from resin, but they were a bit fragile. I'm also doing a run of screen-accurate nozzles for the Cylon Blaster, with all it's intricacies.

So... knightlife, CORA what are the details on your rifle tips? Are they hollow - to allow for lights in them? What is the cost?

Re: Rifle nozzle intrest thread
For the record, I'm not in competition with CORA here, and if he wants this gig - all good. I'm just already heading down that highway and figured I'd mention it since I saw there was a thread about it. I'd like to make the tips as screen-accurate as humanly possible, so if the original tips were drilled out for lights, then I'll do the same. They definitely weren't hollow, as they were turned from solid acrylic. But drilled for lights is not a problem. I haven't come up with a price yet, cause I was just doing them for myself and the guy I'm having lathe them is always pretty reasonable. I won't even bother coming up with or posting a price until I hear from CORA about his intentions.

I'd be interested in one of the muzzles for the pistol.

If you can have them turned out of solid acrylic that would be the best way to go.
I just got the tip from Dale and will make up a mold this week. I don't want to quote a price until I pull one out of the mold and see how it looks first.

Cool. I'll get on turning them from acrylic. I'll be making some blades as well, and tips for the Cylon Blasters... few others as well, Buck Rogers stuff - you guys wouldn't be interested.
