I've only read that the Cylons use a biological skin on the Imperious Leader. Underneath is all machine, some say with three brains(the leader), I.L. Series have two, and Centurions have one.

In the novels it's the Command Centurions who have two brains.
But the novels also have all the Cylons being reptilian life forms ... except the IL "cogitators," who are all machine.
(Lucifer, however, purports to have made himself a soul, which he keeps in his shoulder.)

But the Reptile Cylons died off over a thousand yahrens ago according to Apollo in Saga of A Star World! Although a few may have survived although again Lucifer claims to be of the same series as the Imperious Leader later on...

Yeah, the world of the novelizations was definitely an alternate universe.

Yeah, the world of the novelizations was definitely an alternate universe.

No Apollo's comments were in the Saga of A Star World and Lucifer's were in either Lost Planet of Gods or a later early episode!

You’re right, I was just agreeing that you can’t square what the novelizations said with what the characters said in the show.
