I have one question guys before I commit to buy these is there any idea of knowing if they are my correct size before I buy as the seller doesn't know where to look!

Oh man, that's a hard call. The size tag is probably long gone on the vintage gloves. You could maybe provide the measurement of your hand from wrist to middle finger tip? If someone around the seller has the same size hand, and it fits them - bingo!

Just an idea... others may have better tips. Keep us posted on your search!

Seen these up on the bay of Fleas and thought they looked pretty good!

There is another very similar pair up for sale as well but I noticed that they had fabric uppers!

So!What do you guys think??

Hi Ian,

Instantly they look 100% better than your other gloves.

Don't forget they will be painted black so the fabric uppers probably would matter too much.

This style once they have been converted should clear without issue, my own gloves are very similar.

However I would ask to see pictures of the palms and finger tips as that's where the damage normally takes place.

Just realized that the last gloves/glove as I discovered was one..... Seriously! Who sells one glove..... Lol. More the point who doesn't notice it's only one :)

Any how I found these can you advise if they would be ok! Only one image but the seller says they are in great shape!

They look close enough.

The only thing what differs from screen-accurate gloves are the knuckle details on the top of the finger bars.

Thanks Brutalmagic!

There is a small 1" tear to the fabric on the left index finger which the seller is up front about and has posted pictures.
Nothing serious and nothing 5 mins with a needle and thread won't fix! :cylon:

Keeping the fingers crossed and will put a bid in closer to the time! :D

Might have solved my "Import Tax" shafting from our beloved customs dudes by finding these for sale in the UK and wanted some experienced input from those with more knowledge than moi!.

Unfortunately the first pair run out of time at 10pm (GMT) tonight so hopefully someone can give me their opinion before then.

The second pair also caught my eye but once again I would appreciate any input as to yeah/nay on both pairs.

Many thanks guys!

Apologies for hijacking this thread BUT

I bought black hockey gloves that were pretty good enough to the real thing , i dyed the palms which were a beige color
but i cant get the tippex type print off them on thumb and at side of gloves , i tried vinegar , markers , nail polish remover ,wire brush , paint to cover it up even the dye would not work!!

Ive a mind block atm and cant think of anything else??
