I dont' see how that can be screen used - UNLESS - like the plumb screen used under suit, and SS Raider that has an odd red tint - that "red" translates to gray on screen. That IL head looks like a big strawberry, no where as "gray / sliver" as on screen.
The camera is playing tricks on poor Cylon-Knight!

Trust me that is the HERO Lucifer, and not the back up or back ground model. Take a look at these photos below, and see how coloring does influence what you saw on screen, and also the only known replica (to me) of a Lucifer I have seen.

Looking at these..
It would appear that the head was vac-formed as a front and back, and the bottom half was painted.
any thoughts?

I think they are a clear resin slush then glued together. Way to thick of a material to be vacuum formed.

Zeta, this last render is the best. I was going to comment it was too tall / pointy buy you've corrected it. Great work.

Hello everyone,
Because of me being to busy and not enough experience, I commissioned a modeler to make a IL series 3D head.
Using the pics posted by red eye, others, and a couple I found online, this is what he came up with...
As a starting point for size, I will go with 300mm (12") tall, 164mm (6.56") wide at brow.
I should point out that I have reread this thread and to point out, the IL series head will be carried on top of the wearer's head.
To get it to be worn similar to the helmet would make its size so far off that it would look like a bobble head.

Looks great.
I'll definitely take one if you ever make a physical head out of it!

I think I've figured out how to arrange the lights inside the IL-Series Cylon mouth.
Beneath you can see a still from Specter compared to a screen-used mouth.
So the upper row consists of approx. 6 bulbs/LED's while the lower one was made of 5 lights.
I hope it helps.
