Cool little hide, and find stories. Love the humor of that, and let the real builders like yourself find them, and have a inside joke laugh.

Sorry 'bout that, it could just be an automated response if no one is able to look at the application personally?

Anyone else having problems? I know the mods well and if you'd like to post the usernames you're trying to register (I use the same one across all forums- it's easier to recognise friends), I'll pull some strings and get you in. :salute:

Eventually we'll get there...

I have had membership over there since the beginning. Not a busy board for me but never had a problem having my account turned on.

I just tried and I got in... guess I read something wrong, or was expecting a final "activated email" or something. I dont' know. I'm frazzled the past few days.

Either that or my best pal, LastBattlestar spoke up for me ;) Thanks!!

This weekend when I have time I plan to read up on all the awesome stuff there, including one particular Battlestar! :cylon:

Hi guys, here are some recent-ish pics of the work being done to overhaul my Base Star killer!

As always, the build thread at RI gets updated pretty regularly if you want more detail. Enjoy!

 WOW
Like all of the other most awesome SS builds I've seen buy such talented model makers like yourself there is still just the one fatal flaw with that ship... IT IS NOT AT MY HOUSE!!!

Hands down, it is amazing. Thank you for sharing the pics with us here - greatly appreciated!

SPLENDID work!

How about building a matching studio scale Basestar next?

 Thanks guys! CK, it would be very hard to let this go for any money. Eventually I want to have a little home theatre room- this model has always been intended to be the showpiece in it.

A Basestar would be cool indeed, but another very large model. I'd like to do something a little different and build some Fleet ships, not studio scale (although I do have a Colonial Movers), but in scale with the Galactica. The Movers would be about a foot long, for instance. I'd better get building.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pics, Mike

If your Colonial Mover is about 1 foot longer I think you need to up scale your Galactica build. We can't have off scaled models floating around out there.

Ha, thanks. Y'know, someone had to build a Battlestar to fight off the hordes of Cylons around here. The Galactica is no stranger to being outnumbered by the enemy, but we all know, the good guys always win in the end. 3 Basestars? Pffft!

I've been following your build on other sites too and it's mindblowing all the detail you've added. Thanks for sharing all your pics and info on ID' ing the parts. :salute:
