Greetings from Indiana..

Post by Darth Clayton » Thu Jul 23, 2009 6:11 pm

My name is Jeff, and I am a part of the 501st Legion. I own 4 costumes 3 of which are SW related.. (ROTJ Vader, EPIII 501st Clonetrooper, Darth Nihilus), and I also own a Germania General Maximus costume from Gladiator..

I have always been a huge fan of the "original" BSG, and have always liked the Cylon costume. I am hoping in the near future to begin my quest in acquiring one. I look forward to scouring the forum and becoming acquainted with you all, and picking your brains now and again..

And if some of you are interested in SW costuming I might be able to help you out as well.

By Your Command..

Darth Clayton, Welcome! Glad that you've joined up - please post often and enjoy the site.

Wow - 4 SW outfits, very nice! All your costume knowledge will be great to learn from. If (perhaps I should say - WHEN -) I build a SW suit it would be ROTJ Vader. My fav version of Vader - he was at his best in ROTJ I think. It would be great to hear more about your suit. To be in the 501st it must be NICE.

Keep us posted on your Cylon quest, always looking for another Centurion on the Basestar :)

It's odd that you mentioned Maximus - I just made the below pic for an art contest on another site.

A robot who became a slave.
A slave who became a centurion.
A centurion who defied an Imperious Leader.

My name is Maximus Decimus Zoeius, commander of the Armies of the North,
General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to The One True God.
Father to a murdered toaster, husband to a murdered toaster.
And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next upload.

Hey Jeff welcome on board. First off Cylon-Knight that photo is awesome.
Now Jeff this is the original, and really still the only Cylon builders forum on the web, so you will find just about anything, and everything you need in the information of building your Cylon. There has been some good deals buying kits from people of eBay that past year, but the best deal is the guy that needs the cash, ans is starting out real low. I have seen a few good kits as low as $400. That is out standing for the buyer like yourself.
