I had to at least get my helmet on and snap a selfie. Didn’t even take off my work clothes yet. Lol. More pics to come but it’s here and I’m so excited

Re: My cylon build in CT
great work and a fantastic build so far, so only 6"8, so youll be an average size cylon then keep up the pics, nice to see another build, might help me to get a move on with my armor.
If anybody can, Soda Can Cylon can.

So with the Krop armor for the boots do I use silver rivets to attach them to the boots?

My cylon build in CT
Playing around this am. Should have used a plain black shirt and pants but wanted to see how it looks
I think I’m gonna add a strap from the top of chest plate to the front of the pack to close that gap up some

My cylon build in CT
Will put on my black undershirt and some black sweatpants and retake them to get a idea of placement.
I wish my undersuit was on the way but that’s gonna be a little bit of time for that I want the one from the lady in Germany cus I think that’s the best one to go with from what I read and have been told
When I post the new pics don’t be afraid to give me a honest opinion on placement cus I want to look bad @$$
Has anyone covered the inside of the lights so it’s not so damn annoying? I’m thinking of doing something to eliminate the red light that’s inside so I can possibly see better through the slit in the helmet

Re: My cylon build in CT
LOOKING GOOD!!
What a handsome Centurion, like the rest of us off the assembly line. #CylonPerfection
The strap you spoke of between the chest and back pack collar is actually an original 1:1 item. Good, vintage idea.
Ahhh... can't wait to see your under suit. I wonder how many she's made now? Probably has done near a dozen?
My light's don't bleed too much into my helmet. I can see them for sure but they are not overwhelming. Could you add a strip of electrical tape over the interior business end?

Re: My cylon build in CT
The electrical tape or the loop type Velcro is what I’m thinking of doing.
I’m slowly starting to save up for the undersuit. I want to go black on chrome even tho I know the color is purple. I honestly think they did purple in the cylon fighters more than anywhere else. I have the series on dvd and have been playing it from start to finish cus I have no need for cable right now.
I think the krop backpack needs some work but I’m happy to have another one of the suits I have always wanted as a child now.
Looking forward to my first time taking it out to a convention as I have yet to see one here in CT

Tried the loop Velcro and could not see anything. So I used electrical tape and it works well. There is still a little glow from the leds but nothing serious and I can see a little better

Re: My cylon build in CT
Good deal. Hopefully it stays. The heat inside the helmet if you wear it for a while could make it go all sticky. Keep us posted how it goes.

Will do. Just trying to figure out something to eliminate that red light in the eyes. If that doesn’t work I might use black nail polish.
Will post up pics from inside the helmet later

Re: My cylon build in CT
Biker boots are the common style used. I was never able to find a brand name of the boot.

Re: My cylon build in CT
I used the boots I had for my Vader suit that were too short in the boot shaft but perfect for this so saved money there
