Re: My modded Krop
Thanks guys.
I used sheet styrene, it wasn't as thick as I would have liked, but it's just to get me through this year. I claded it with the chrome strip that I found at a local hobby shop.
It's used to coat balsa rc airplanes, it has an adhesive back and is quite thin. I used some to recover the seams on the backpack, you can hardly tell it's there other than the odd wrinkle.
BTW, I bought the boots in Kalispell MT. At the Army and Navy, they were 150 regular, but they had a sale for 50 percent off. I just figure they looked close. It wasn't till I got back home that I realized they were damn nearly bang on other than being made by Harley Davidson..... Anyway... Cheers

Re: My modded Krop
For your modded backpack, the top "toilet seat" section that is the part you cut to be ab;e to re-angle the top to sit lower and raise the back section up?
I've marked with some tape on mine is that the section you cut away from the tape edge backwards? They you just butted the top and back together and attached them from below?
If you can post a photo of the underside of you pack that would be really helpful.
Thanks,
Christina
