I rewatched Blood and Chrome and this time I watched some of the extras beyond deleted scenes. I was surprised to learn that blood and Chrome was pitched originally as a game in 10 or so parts. Further it was 100% done with CGI beyond the actors as all the galactica property was sold (sets/Vipers.... everything) after the close of the series. Bluntly it turned out BETTER than anybody predicted and IMHO was done so well that it should have been pitched as a prequel series. I wonder if Caprica low success doomed it although I liked really that series as well? I don't know what the costs were but 80% of the show was done in post production due to the heavy CGI. Any thoughts out there? I just found this tidbit to be interesting. I also find it annoying that every darn show I like is killed way before its prime

Re: Blood and Chrome CGI
It's a decent little film, but not topflight BG.

It had a lot of potential. An Adama origin story that showcased the BSG Galactica in it's Cylon war prime

Re: Blood and Chrome CGI
I'd agree that it was decent and enjoyable, but not Earth shattering.
