#6: The Magnificent Warriors

Back to the filler western plot episodes rushed into production, but this is at least another good one, and would possibly get my vote as best of the three. It's just so much damn fun with Adama being chased by the cougar Siress Belloby. Nice performances and the Borays are an enjoyable menace.

You mentioned Siress Belloby - Space Cougar!

I like her in this episode. Her status and such give us a little more glimpse into the greater Colonial society. One that is still oddly intact, IMHO. Entire planets and way of life and most of the population - GONE - yet... she is rich and powerful. Total destruction seems to affect Sire and Siress individuals very little. lol

I read some interesting trivia in this episode.
-The last time Adama sets foot on a planet. Wild as only Episode 6!?
-Constable Farnes that is killed was played by Rance Howard, Ron Howard's dad.

"Wild as only episode 6"

What do you mean?

We're not getting many people voting in these polls, alas.

Wild since the show would go on for 13 more episodes.
Many characters should (and did) leave the ships for planets.

I would have expected Adama would go along as well. Not so much for zap-zap gunfights and action and adventure, etc., but to talk to other leaders they encounter and barter for supplies and so on. There is no transporter or viewscreen, have to fly down to have any personal exchange. Perhaps season two might have had more of those types of stories and usage of the Adama character besides "positive shields" and grandpa to Boxey.

Nope not too many votes, their loss. ;)

Could someone correct the misspelling in the title please?

Apparently Siress Belloby actress, Brett Somers, was married to Quincy himself, Jack Klugman! don't that beat all?
