Commercial "Starbuck was better as a man"

Post by OneMinuteGalactica » Sat Sep 28, 2013 10:27 am

I don't know if this was talked about elsewhere, but I was wondering if anyone has seen that commercial where they talking about original Galactica. It might be for Dish TV or something like that. There are two guys sitting on a couch watching TV, one old and one young, and somehow they've been led from one TV series to another (through a series of links, kind of like at Amazon) to the original BSG. Kind of like, hey, how did we end up on this series? And then the older guy says, "Starbuck was better as a man."

I've caught the very end a couple of times, but never seen the whole thing. It seemed vaguely insulting. I'm wondering if it's at YouTube somewhere, but I just don't know what to type into the search box to find it.

GoldCylon has posted about this. Said it was a commercial for a Sanyo Smart TV.

Yes I saw that I think during Break Bad, and I did a quick search online trying to find it, but no luck.

Ah, thanks Cylon Knight. Sanyo Smart TV. I don't want to seem too old, but I hear stuff like this and I can't overstate how much I just don't care about these "products." I glaze over at every smart phone commercial too, but the Galactica stuff at the end of this one made me snap to attention.

That first guy looks like an elderly Richard Hatch.

This is always the way. After about a month of catching the last few seconds of this commercial three or four times, I actually caught it from the very beginning last night.

Starbuck was a better looking man than a woman, and Kara Thrace was HOT!
