Has anyone here added more heel to their boot? If so, how?

I know "Vader" costume guys do it a lot to add height. It looks a bit funny - generally people are more distracted by boot height versus shorter cylons. But if you want to do it then that's cool . Mostly I have seen wood added to it - just like a real shoe. Don't forget the traction of some rubber. Going to a rubber fabricator may help too as they may be able to cut you a chunk of rubber that you can add.

I was thinking along the same lines of trying to make me taller when I get round to the boots, was looking at these but not sure if they would work or be comfortable too! (means walking a little funny too)
