SAAB compared to BSG in DVD review
Nice write up with some different views that I haven't heard before. http://m.sfx.co.uk/2012/04/27/space-abo ... nd-review/

Pretty cool article, although I always thought of SAAB as the Marines from the Aliens movie (less the acid for blood aliens). Definitely a great tv series that paved the way for the gritty shaky-cam space dogfights later seen on the reimagined Galactica series.
I just picked up the new Space: Above And Beyond "Collector's Edition" DVD set that includes a documentary not released in the USA. Be aware that it was released in England, so it's a Region 2 PAL DVD set (not playable in the United States).
Here's a link to the DVD set...

I really want that, but with a Blu Ray player that is new, and has even problems playing some home made videos it might just be a waste of money.
