Colonial Viper ART2MODELS RESIN KIT
Hey, Guys
My name's Rodrigo and I, with my good friend Rodolfo, have a shop where we have been making scifi resin model kits for about 2 years now; our first product was the X-WING 1/24 Studio Scale, made of resin and metal. This is our website http://www.art2models.cl
Our work has been published in http://www.modelermagic.com and http://www.therpf.com, receiving numerous praises regarding the high quality and fine details of our kits.
About 2 months ago, we got a Viper from Galactica, a 1978 monogram, a good kit, but lacks detail and the fuselage lines do not match the Studio Scale.
We remodeled the kit, changed all the wrong pieces and added the details from the Studio Scale kit. We made silicon rubber molds and our idea is to make 12 kits (no more than that). The models is almost finished to be presented on different websites tomorrow, and we'd like to hear your opinions about this kit!
don't hesitate to contact me thru PM in case of any doubts or questions
Thanks a lot

Re: Colonial Viper ART2MODELS RESIN KIT
First of all, I appreciate the welcoming words!
It is great that I can show you guys my other sci-fi models, we're working on a new batch of kits for this year, including a cylon rider, totally modified as a studio scale.
The viper I'm working on only needs a few more painting details and finish the canopy, as you noted. The model does not have landing gear so far. The resin kit consists of 8 pieces made from high quality materials with almost zero bubbles and the resin is imported from Japan.
I'll be posting new pictures maybe tomorrow or the day after, so you can have a better look at it
Best Regards

Hey, guys
here's the finished second model, made for a customer in Canada, we sent him the same pics and he was over the moon happy with the results.
Aprox. 19 hours were required to put the kit together and give it all the painting details, but it was a very pleasant job!
