Starbuck's fumarillo guage and length?
I want to order some Cigars like Starbucks. I know the wrapper is a Candella (green) and I think the gauge is around that of a long pantella (36ring and 7 inches long). What do you guys think?
Battlestarwikki defines it as such:
Fumarello
Starbuck enjoys a fumarello (The Man with Nine Lives).
In the Original Series, the fumarello is a fairly large cigar, similar to a parejo. Typically seen near or in Starbuck's mouth, much to the dismay of the Cylons and their chest armor.

These are the fumarellos you seek! Got to speak with Dirk about these for about an hour once. Very cool guy. No. 1 or Favoritas both look like a Starbuck smoke. The Maximos are great!

Those do sound 'yummy' as I like the deeper and more robust smoke that it is describing - however they are Conneticut wrappers and the Fummarellos have a candella (green) wrapper. Did you guys talk about favorite smokes or the ones that he got on set? What a neat conversation to have with Starbuck!

I think that it is the lighting that makes it look like a Candela. It played havoc with the color of the jackets. Dirk told me these were his Starbuck cigar of choice. I always keep a candela on hand though because it does have the look. It looks like a 42 ring and around 6 inches long. Could be a 38 ring but that is pretty small. Looks cooler to chomp on though if you ask me.
Fuente makes a decent candela that has the look. I'm not sure off hand which one it is but it should be easy enough to find. I'll keep an eye out. I'm hoping to have a few fumarellos with some of you at Galacticon III next year! I'm hoping we can get a little friendly competition going to see how many members the Cylon Empire and Blackstar can get to the con.

cool - thanks for all the info.
I actually wasn't aware of Galacticon III - where will it be at? Perhaps a new thread in "meet ups" is appropriate
Cylon or not I would be happy to share one with you

You got it man! We'll have to set up a "fumarello fandango" as Dirk called it.
