But these measurements are from the stunt. If you look close you will see Cy's pistol was vacuformed over the stunt. It's bigger and the details softer. It's obvious once you see it. Freeze it and check it out on a 55 inch or so.

I got my hyperdyne scanner and it's a little different then the zeta eye scanner. It has 4 chasing LEDs.

Thanks for these measurements Skullbeast. If I may ask a few more questions it would be much appreciated.I have a third pistol I was working on for my weapons wall.and the handle Is almost spot on these sizes. except the handle from top to bottom.with these measurements I get a length starting from the bottom of the body to the end of the handle of 3 7/8th if that's including the little piece at the bottom of the handle that comes out foreword of the handle. It makes the handle way short and stubby IMO.seems the design wouldn't even fit on it. or is it just my math.again thank you for your help.....

Your measurement is correct. That's just how big it is.

Taking note you have drilled holes facing out toward your next Colonial victim. The common thought it to point them forward, but they need to be standing up straight like ducks in a shooting gallery. Two reason for this is more surface area to the light giving it the most bang (brightness) for the buck, and the tip has more of a white exposed color at the tip over red. So stand those light up give it the full on brightest red you can give them to scan for alien life forms.Skullbeast wrote:The scanner holder visor is From Cora.

That's actually the way they came pointing down. Side forward. But that is not how Nashslashes was done. Imo his is the best I have seen. I'm coping his technique. With the difuser. And it is way brighter forward

I just want what works the best. If it sucks I'll redo it.

Interesting how those lights really don't look bad at all pointing starlight ahead.
