L5 Series

Post by GoldCylon » Tue May 31, 2011 5:36 pm

I came across a group of guys that are making their own series of episodes. Unknown at this time how it will be released via the web, or a TV series. I like the concept of the show. Like a Planet of the Apes return in time after gone for 200 years in a sleep state, and how Earth isn't what it used to be when they left. They have posted a series of videos on YouTube of the filming, and then this. Making the suit. I like the build of duck-tape, wood, canvas, felt, (Shell Shock) hardening agent. Very cool idea, but the builder wasn't having fun at all.

They just released video on day 6 yesterday. They are moving along real nice, and man they sure know how to pitch the nickle. Their budget has been around $3000 so far. They must have had a lot of items in inventory and just wrote it off as part of the making of the movie.
