This isn't a finished product, but more of test to see what bugs I need to work out, and as the photo shows the glue is visible, and a few other minor details need to be worked out.

Looking good! Is that piece that goes over the marble/candy bubble part of the L'eggs egg too?

Yes it is and I also made a slight change. The marble seemed like it was sitting a bit to high so I removed it and drilled a large hole in the egg shell and then glued the marble in from the back side.
Oh the egg shell used was not the same leggs eggs shell. It was a Easter Egg shell I picked up last week that split in half length wise. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow.

I noticed that the marble looked like it was sitting on there better. Now would be the perfect time to pick up eggs since the stores are marking them down after Easter. :)

So, is the "top" of the nose the bottom of the egg? How many eggs does it take to make the muzzle?

The lower part that I haven't studied much is a hinged pieces that has his tongue that is his mouth. Talking here on the fly with out looking at a reference photo. I was trying to get the smaller wedge piece correct to replace the missing piece of the original Daggit.
