Everything is cut and now I'm ready for gluing.

Good luck!

Are you going to cast in in fiberglass when finishing the papercraft version?

That is the plan as long as it looks good. I stared a Cyberman a while back and it didn't turn out so well and I had to scrap it.

Once I get a little more experience I'll go back to the Cyberman. I think it was a little too advance for my current skills.

I see.

Was it a classic or new Cyberman?

It was a new Cyberman. I got screwed up somewhere with the helmet section...nothing seemed to lineup correctly. Later I found that I glued 2 sections together that fit perfectly, but there was another piece that was supposed to go in between.

Looking great.

Thought I would post this, perhaps it will inspire others.
My advice is patience, don't try to glue too many parts at once. I found, glue 3-4 parts or tabs if it a complex curve. let stand for few minutes. Then do a few more tabs. I prefer to do like 10-12 parts, then let sit for a few hours. I takes time but the result is better, less sloppy.

In the first pic is a 3D render of the helm. The second pic is the first prototype construction. I am currently in construction of a second one, as I discovered several problem while building the first one. Any questions just ask.

Check out my thread here. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1502&start=15

Very cool, groupleaderzeta! I've looked at your thread before and it looks great.

I've been taking it very slow and so far so good. I am very concerned with some of the larger curves...that seems were I have my biggest issues.

Don't sweat, just go slow, maybe just do 2 tabs at a time. what glue are you using?
I use Elmer's school glue ( I have a 6yr old so I have lots)
