Different eye scanners?

Post by Red Eye » Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:55 am

It's a fact that they've did some alterations to the IL head since "Lost Planet of the Gods" to "The Long Patrol".

But it seems the eye scanners were updated for "War of the Gods", which marks the final appearance of the IL-Series Cylons (or Lucifer respectively).

Here's a comparison taken from "The Living Legend" and "War of the Gods":

Any ideas? Perhaps it's the common problem called "different studio lighting" again, but I doubt it somehow...

Other speculations are welcome!

I would say it was the amount of power to the bulbs. In the first pic, low power. second pic higher power for brighter lights.
could have something to do with reflection back to the camera. perhaps change in cam filter.

I'm going to agree with Zeta there. It is truely amazing how angle plus lighting can really mess with perception. I've created a formula that explains this phenomenon:

(angle + light) x 2 = confussion of truth This specific formula is when there are two variable pictures to look at.

Okay, I guess that solves the problem.
