My IL-Series Cylon replica costume - FINISHED -

Post by Red Eye » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:46 am

Today, I've got my replica IL-Series Cylon robe:

It was sewn by the same seamstress who also made the undersuit for me.

Please note that it's still under construction, but you'll get an idea of how the finished costume will look like.

Let me know what you think about it!

Now I'm in need of a proper head for completing the display... so hurry up zeta or Hand-Schaub!

Excellent! In fact I did vacuform some new heads and I have one really clean one which I'll be putting together. Now with this it lights a flame and I want to find some workable electronics.

I love the colors - very sinister

It's made of a fabric called lurex.

And thanks for your kind words, guys!

How about asking zeta for some additional help?

His research on usable electronics was quite advanced...

Great work on the robes. I have prototypes for the sound activated lips, eyes, and the rope light. Due to low funds and recent injury, everything has been put on hold. When I can get around on my own 2 feet, I will get back to the IL. Your robe has made me want to place the IL closer to the top of the list.
