One change about the original BSG in season two Galactica:1980 that I loved from a production design p.o.v. was the now 2-seat Colonial Vipers.
This would have come in handy in season one "Saga Of A Star World" when Apollo took Adama down to Caprica in a one seat Viper.
It adds so many options to story plots, i.e., co-pilot, passenger or supplies.
The cargo hold with a Colonial Turbine and Time-warp capable travel makes the Galactica:1980 2-seat Colonial Viper extremely impressive.
What do you think of the Galactica:1980 2-seat Colonial Viper?

Agreed, it would have opened up so many cool story options if they had it in the original series.
I wonder, could a single seat viper also time travel?

If they have any single seat Viper in 1980, then yes since the tech was created with Dr. Zee.Cylon-Knight wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 9:21 pmAgreed, it would have opened up so many cool story options if they had it in the original series.

I loved the 2-seat time-warping Viper complete with both forceshield invisibility and a flying Turbine stored in it's carghold. I think that the Galactica:1980 series should have been about Colonial Vipers time traveling to explore Earth's history [and chase Xavier or a Cylon(s)] as was established in the pilot "Galactica Discovers Earth".
