AWESOME WORK nashslash!!! You work on your Cylon is a true inspiration.

I love the photo of the "trashed bits" from the gloves

Thanks for the pic GodCylon. 8)

Good work on the cutting, nashslash.

So how do you going to paint your gloves?

Spray or dye them somehow?

Red I'm going to use a combination of both methods. Both dyeing and painting them. I just finished off the first coat of dye. They've been drying all all afternoon and here is the results so far.

Ok, here the first video of my near completed Cylon ARMOUR . I did talk originally but had to remove the commentary as it was so windy.

The undersuit is not made yet so I am wearing a pair of jogging bottoms (yes, a chav cylon) and a black coat.

Things still to do are fit the electronics in the lid and secure. Also line the lid and pad it out. In the video its just flopping around on my head. Also need to paint the detail on the side of the lid.

Final adjustment for securing the armour onto my undersuit, after its made...

Add some sticker detail to the armour.(work in progress)

Find a way to secure the chest piece to the shoulder section.

But apart from the lid the armour is pretty much done now.

Things to do still are mod and complete my gloves and make my undersuit....

AWESOME VID! I love the chrome and dig that back pack sticker ;)
Remember everyone, that belt he's wearing is his own self made one - not a "real" camera man one - but it looks great!

NICE!

Now all you need to make your Centurion complete is a Cylon rifle (apart from the undersuit of course)...

Any plans in building one as well?

Red to be honest No, I have no plans to have a rifle. I costume a lot and what with the limited vision its not advisable to walk about holding a rifle bumping into people. Especially with that bayonet at the end

Maybe for a display it would be cool to have one. I want to try and make one after my Cylon is done... will need a new challenge :)

Update started work in earnest on my undersuit tonight. Its going to be a long task. Its taken me about 3 hours to do a 9 rib section. Hopefully I'll get a little faster the more I do. Take it easy on me fellow centurions I am not a professional seamstress but any means. I've also copied this post to the undersuit post.

Heres a little video, enjoy
