Undersuit Fabrics/Materials

Post by Flight_Leader » Tue Oct 23, 2007 5:19 pm

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the body of the undersuit is a gray/plum colored heavy-weight spandex, correct?

And the "patches" are buckram interfaced vinyl, yes?

So, does anyone know of a supplier for the above materials?

I talked to Kathy P several months ago and she told me she had found the original supplier for the gunmetal gray vinyl. It looked pretty darn close, IMHO.

Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

Yes your correct about the above items. I found a supply of the correct gun metal material for the welts cord/pipping but it is very thin, and hard to work with. The color of the material for the under suit is a plum like material. It is made out of a heavy stock of Lycra (swim suit material) Has some stretch to it.
