Yes, I did bend the spikes and actually curled them on the inside. The spike part of the pyramids I purchased weren't very long and going through 2 pieces of leather left very little. Im sure Ill find some type of glue to better hold them. Love the Vigo suit! :loveit:

wow fantastic work!, I think I may have a go at making one of these!

Do you know if there is a similar 'card model' starting point on which to base the large blaster on?

I seem to be having trouble finding anyone who supplies blasters or blaster kits!

Thanks guys!

I have only seen the pistol in card model but Red Eye does have a replica Cylon rifle in the Junkyard for sale.

Yeah I seen that one but was hoping to make or get a lighter hollow blaster for electronics etc, if im stuck though I may inquire about it.
I have seen some of the dimensions for the blaster on here somewhere but not the thickness etc, if I could get the rest of the dimensions I could have a go at making it myself

I have some pepakura files for the rifle I know... the pistol maybe (fuzzy memory). If you'd like them let me know.

Id be interested in trying the pepfiles. Might could convert some of the files to build it from foam. It would be lighter.

Do you still have the paper files for the pistol? I was reading this and was thinking that might be a good idea for long events or even photo ops where they can hold a pistol too

There is a 3d printable version on thingverse if you have a 3d printer. Prints in pieces so its hollow to allow for electronics.
