Metallic mylar tape?

So, I know it sounds silly, but where is a good source for the chrome tape? I am specifically looking for copper, actually, if it's possible. I have found copper tape that's used for sensors and grounding guitars etc. but the thin mylar type that they used on the original cylons is what I'm after, in copper. I assumed it would be readily available. I wanted to get enough to use and have extra for future armor repairs, plus I wanted to send in a sample to the platers to try to match. I have only found gold and chrome.

Aw man. Just got the "copper" tape. Horrible. It is metallic orange. $:frack:$

I'm shooting for something close to a polished penny. Some might call it rose gold. I call it copper. I know I've seen copper tape before. This source might be good for chrome, and maybe even gold, but no way for copper.

Find the tape you like, and send a sample of the tape with your armour to be chrome so they can try to color match to the tape.

Hey, good news… I got a roll of copper tape today that looks just like I wanted it to! And I think one roll will last me a while.

Very cool, and congrats. I will agree it will last a while. I have a roll used back in the 78 production days that has decades of useage let to it. Yes I do use it.

Night and day, compared to that crappy orange stuff I got from The Tape Bros. I got this off of ebay. Came from China.
