Hello,
Glen wouldn't know such technical details (more likely a guy from the sound
department would know this). We still have to interview Michael Santiago (we
only have a post address for him so I can't e-mail him the question), but as
far as our information goes they used the EMS Vocoder 5000 and a
ring-modulator. I'll let you know if Michael tells us otherwise. Hope this
helps,
Marcel Damen

Dear Galactica TV Forum,
Could you please tell me or find-out from either Mr. Glen A. Larson or Mr.
Michael Santiago which brand/model of vocoder was used in production of the
original 1978-9 series-version of "Battlestar Galactica"?!! Thank you.
Sincerely,

The Cylon Vocoder is an EMS Vocoder!!! Also possibly used was the Marshall 5002 Time-Modulator!! Was an electric saxophone used with or instead of an unknown synthesizer or electric/electronic keyboard??
