Yea, I'm really happy with them. I'll post a better shot of the grill in the metal mouth grill thread.

And yes, the sword is solid aluminum. Nice and light, but pretty strong. I don't think I'll sharpen it at all, but I want the blade to look nice at a glance. I may wrap the handle in black leather, but I think the real ones were just painted black, right? I'll need to detail the endcap/pommel piece a bit to get those grooves back in.

Wish I could afford it.

Yeah, the handles on the real ones were simply painted black.

Have a look at it here:

Or, FLIGHTLDR SERPENTINE, you can leave all silver - and so -original, REALLY screen accurate... ;)

Cylon Empire member, Galactifan, found that the Cylon sword actually pre-dates Battlestar Galactica.
It can be seen in the Lost In Space, third season episode titled "Condemned of Space" (1967).

Oh yea, I remember that episode. It has Robby as a "prison" guard, right? ...And look, there's Lucifer, ah, I mean, Dr. Smith. Thanks for posting the pics.

Got a package today from Zeta. :nah:  :loveit: :loveit: :loveit: :loveit: :loveit: :loveit: :loveit:

Holy crap this is the single coolest thing I've ever gotten in the mail… or at least gave me the quickest thrill right out of the box… Made me feel just like a kid again, and it works like a charm. Michael you are a bona fide genius! I can hardly wait to hear the sound, but that will have to wait a bit. And these LEDs are like 1000 times brighter than my real one! WORTH EVERY PENNY. Thank you so much. :byyourcommand: :cylongold: :cylongold: :cylongold: :cylongold: :cylongold: :cylongold:

Looks great! Another high-five for Zeta.

He made my eye too, but I might have to get the new and improved model... yours seems MUCH brighter, indeed.
Keep on rockin' Flightleader. :sunglasses:
