I picture the body type you describe as a sort of RoboCop type suit...
A re imagination would be neat to see.

Hm, might worth a try. Would be interesting to see what you would come up with.

For example, the particular design as envisioned here looks like a good start to me:

PS: Still LOVE that Vulpa Six helmet! Perhaps someone here is willing to do a replica? This would ROCK!

The lines of the robocop undersuit is something to consider yes.

The ridged form of the undersuit was made like that for a purpose, and that was to help it conform to a robot look. If it flexed as easy, and like a human then it would be real easy to say that is just a guy in a suit. Yes it still was, but it has that sharp cut edges to help give it a mechanical look to it. Now for costuming these other methods of material you mentioned are good ideas, but trying to keep true, and comfortable at the say time isn't a easy task.

Oddly enough the "Battle of Galactica" suits seem to be what you are talking about. They were actual... 'robots'!!

The Vulpa 6 helmet is pretty awesome and not a hard mod to do to an existing helmet. hmmm... perhaps worth the effort...

I was thinking about that. since I plan on doing several pep builds to try different options on resin and fiberglass, bondo an the such one of them I may finish with the Vulpa 6 Mod and a blue eye. i Really like the look!

I still remember when i was 9 years old and my grandma took me to my first overseas trip to the US. first spot we visited was universal Studios and of all of it, the Battle of Galactica was what etched in my mind. i
