Our seller just shipped the armor so it should be here within 3 to 5 days. Shipping via EMS. Very much looking forward to these before we leave for vacation.

You get anything yet? I'm having a hard time getting him to respond to me. It's past the deadline too.

Hi yes we got the armor some week or so ago. Just a few minor flaws which the seller plan to make good once we get back from vacation. It is beautiful. We will post pics on our website when time permits as we are preparing for our 1 month vacation.

Hi all,
An open window in time so we took 10 pictures of the fiberglass CYLON armor. Bought this on eBay for $699 + $100 EMS postage. Some flaws present but that will be resolved once we get back from vacation. Enjoy the PICS. Chime in everyone. Once all the flaws are worked out then it will be sent out for chroming.

Nice pics... I've also ordered a set of armor from this seller at eBay... all the flaws are already worked out and very soon it will be chromed. When all is done, it would be nice if Dale could post the pictures.

Also NOTE: We tried to stage the square belt armor to the 7 section G&M camera belt. They do not fit perfectly but with some Macgver-like engineering i'm sure they will fit better. We found a small spool of industrial strength VELCO. Can't wait to get these pieces CHROMED.

He is a wee bit lax on the communication side. Just email him and then FWD that email and pray for a response :D Do not give up. He's a very nice person to chat when he responds. He is good about not having to pay 1st until the armor is ready to ship as they did with us. Good luck. We will be back to the forum on Dec 18, 2006. Our vacation is awaiting us.

Hi everyone,
Slight OT. Am in Hong Kong now. My 1st time out of the USA!!! It's freaking cool here. Tons of lights and lots of places to shop. Hope i can find a CYLON toy or something similar to bring home. Electronics here is ahead of the US so as a gadjet geek this is bad :-) I'm gonna be a shopping fool for the next month. I may even try to find a connection down here to chrome. Maybe? The wife and I plan for a 3 month long vacation back here next year. Will post more later on.

PS Back to the topic of the armor. IMHO it's the best replica armor. Worth every penny. We don't mind the extra weight as this will be a 95% mannequin piece for our Home Theater. 5% possible Halloween costume. Once chromeds am afraid to nick, ding or incur any possible flaw or damage.
