534's Stealth Cylon Helmet
This is actually not a Stealth Cylon but my second try at a regular Cylon Helmet. I just used the Gloss Black to check for imperfections in my primer job and before I get it chromed I wanted to share how cool it looks just Black!

One shot I took looked exactly like Smoked Chrome! Here's another shot that shows the Black a little "Blacker". The Grill is just unpainted raw White resin.gremlin wrote:thats just black???? i thought it was chromed

Looks great! I'd leave it like it is.
A nice start for a COMPLETE Stealth Centurion costume...

This is what happens when you don't know how to spray paint! My second coat got messed up and was running all over the place so time to sand it down, re-primer and consider a paint & body shop to shoot some clear over it before I have it chromed!

I recommend a catalyze primer then sand it out real nice then you can get it chromed. And autobody place can spray that for you.

Thanks for the heads up! It's at the chrome shop now but I used "Primer Filler" spray and sanded the absolute heck out of it with 1500 wet until even the primer was reflecting! Well see...Skullbeast wrote:I recommend a catalyze primer then sand it out real nice then you can get it chromed. And autobody place can spray that for you.
